  • What is the login process for accessing OIBIS for the first time?
    Enter your username and temporary password that was emailed to you. Enter a permanent password that satisfies password requirements. Enter answers to the list of security questions. You will be logged into the default landing page, which is the timesheet Week view. Once logged in, you will be presented with the "Welcome" panel that contains short videos of how to get started. Once you close the "Welcome" panel, you will be presented with a number of context sensitive help panels that introduces you to the main functionality on each page.
  • What happens if attempt to log in with the incorrect username or password?
    On your third attempt to log in with incorrect credentials, your account will be locked for 5 minutes. If, after the 5 minutes has lapsed, you once again attempt to log in with incorrect credentials more than twice, your account will be locked for 10 minutes. If, after the 10 minutes has lapsed, you once again attempt to log in with incorrect credentials more than twice, your account will be blocked, requiring you to contact your administrator to assist you with unblocking your account.
  • What happens if I forget my password?
    After clicking the "FORGOT PASSWORD" button on the login page, you will be presented with a "Forgot password" panel requiring you to insert your registered email address and then click the "RESET PASSWORD" button, after which you will be presented with a "Password reset" panel confirming that a temporary password has been sent to your email address. After logging in with your username and temporary password, you will be required to answer three randomly selected security questions. If you submit incorrect answers on your third attempt, your account will be blocked requiring you to contact your administrator to unblock your account. After answering your security questions correctly, you will be prompted to enter a new password, which has to be different to the last 5 passwords used. After entering a valid new password, you will be presented with a "Saved successfully" panel and you will receive a email confirming that your password has changed.
  • Can I switch off 2FA (2 Factor Authentication)?
    Yes, if you are associated with a role that has the "User can maintain account settings" permission set to true, you can switch off 2FA under "Account settings".
  • What should I do if I forget my password and security questions?
    Reach out to your administrator for assistance. The administrator will initiate the password and security question reset process, which will send you an email containing an OTP (One Time Pin) for verification purposes. You will provide the administrator with the OTP from the email you received. After entering the OTP, the administrator will be able to initiate your password and/or security questions reset process. After the reset process has been initiated, you will receive an email with further instructions.
  • How can I update my security question answers while logged in to my OIBIS account?
    After logging into your OIBIS account, click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of your screen. Select "Security settings" from the options available to you. Enter your password and click the "VERIFY" button. On the "Security settings" sidenav enter a new password and/or enter answers to security questions. Once done, click the "SAVE" button to save your changes.
  • Can I change my preferred language?
    Yes, you can change your preferred language in one of two ways. Permanently: Log into OIBIS. Click your profile picture in the top-right of your screen. Select the "Localization" option. Select your preferred language from the "Language" dropdown. Click the "SAVE" button to see your preferred language take effect immediately. Temporarily: From the OIBIS login page, click the globe icon in the bottom-right of your screen. Select your preferred language from the list provided to see it take effect immediately. Your selected language will be in effect for the duration of your current session.
  • How do I set the default language my company's account?
    One of the roles associated with your account will require the "User can maintain account settings" permission set to true. Select the amber application. Click the hamburger menu located in the top-left of your screen, and then select the "Account settings" menu item. Select a language from the "Language" dropdown as the default company language. Click the "Save" button in the bottom-right of the screen. All users that have never logged into OIBIS will have their preferred language set to the company's selected language.
  • How can I switch between OIBIS applications?
    Using the OIBIS apps menu icon: While logged into OIBIS, click on the OIBIS apps icon in the top-right corner of the page. Select the app you want to use from the list. To open the app in the same window, simply click the app. To open the app in a new browser tab, hold CTRL (or CMD on Mac) while clicking the app. If an app icon is greyed out, it means you don't have the required permission to access it. A faded app icon indicates an upcoming application that is not yet available. Using shortcut keys: Press the "a" key to switch from blue to amber, as long as you're not on a form screen when doing so (i.e. a screen with input fields). Press the "b" key to switch from amber to blue, again provided you're not on a form screen.
  • How do I change my preferred app and landing page in OIBIS?
    To change your preferred app and landing page in OIBIS, follow these steps: After logging in, click on your profile icon in the top-right corner. Select "Page settings" from the menu to open the "Page settings" sidenav. For each app, choose your preferred landing page from the dropdown options. Select the app you would like to be directed to after logging in by clicking your preferred app's radio button. Once selected, your preferences will be automatically saved and applied the next time you log in or switch between apps.
  • How do I switch between light and dark themes in OIBIS?
    Log in to your OIBIS account. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Click the toggle to switch between "Light theme" or "Dark theme". Your theme will update automatically.
  • Can I apply promotions to my OIBIS subscription?
    Yes! OIBIS allows you to apply up to two promotions simultaneously. You can apply one promotion to your app subscription (e.g., "blue") and another promotion based on the number of seats purchased. This ensures you can maximize your savings while scaling your team with OIBIS.
